Your day begins as we travel to Narragansett, RI where you will board the Southland River boat for an hour and forty-five minute cruise. The cruises have become so talked about that even Yankee Magazine's Travel Guide recognized what a great job they do. Lunch will be in the Village Inn located near the waterfront. After Lunch we will drive along the shore line before visiting Kenyon’s Grist Mill where fresh made Johnnycakes will await you. The mill is located in a vintage 1886 building, and they continue to use the original granite millstones quarried from Westerly, RI. The huge stones produce the exceptional texture and quality not found in modern, steel ground flours. Single pass stone grinding also preserves the vital, natural nutrition of the grains. Kenyon’s offers the ingredients that health conscious consumers are searching for, ground the simple, old fashioned way of long ago. In addition to our meals and flours, we blend a wide variety of mixes, containing our freshly ground products, free of additives and preservatives. You will see how stone ground corn meal is made
