In order for you to help meet our expectations we have posted our hotel and restaurant guidelines. These are guidelines not rules!!!
SEPT 20
Our first stop will be Stonewall Kitchens where you can sample the many products available for tasting. There is a bakery where you can purchase, muffins, scones and coffee
On arrival in Portland we will visit Cranberry Island Kitchen known for its gourmet whoopie pies, featured on “Throw down with Bobby Flay” on the Food Network and on “Martha Stewart”. Everyone will receive a whoopie pie and a cup of coffee. You want to make bring these or other treats home with you! at 11:15 we will board the boat for a one hour Harbor cruise returning to the docks at 12:30, For lunch we will feature a Maine Lobster Bake with chowder, mussels, a choice of lobster, steak or chicken, and a blueberry dessert.
After lunch we will make a stop by the harbor where you will be able to buy seafood right off the dock. Many of the markets will pack the lobster to go for those who would like to take some home.. Harbor Fish Market has a large selection of fresh fish, shell fish, and smoked fish packed to travel.
In the afternoon we will visit the Maine Meade Works where honey is turned into wine. You will find the process quite interesting. You will also learn how honey wine let to the term Honeymoon.
