Bright nights is one of New England’s larges animated holiday lighting displays using more then 600, 000 lights over a three mile route. A drive through Forrest Park to see the displays, has become a holiday tradition with many individuals and families.

We depart Manchester NH at 11:30 in the morning where our first stop is the Yankee Candle Flagship in Deerfield Mass. The Yankee Candle flagship store in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, draws three million visitors per year and is one of the largest tourist attractions in the state. It offers visitors not only the greatest variety of Yankee Candle scents available, but also a unique atmosphere with a variety of interactive exhibits and a Candle Making Museum.

The most popular exhibit is the Bavarian Village, a old fashioned German-style village where it’s Christmas year round and Mr. or Mrs. Claus is never far away.

The Black Forest offers Christmas collectibles and a large selection of ornaments year round, and the Nutcracker Castle contains Yankee Candle Toy where Santa’s Workshop is open year round for visits to the Clauses.

The flagship store is also the first to receive new fragrances, with a section at the front of the store that displays the coming season’s candles. Island Guava and Kiwi Berries are two of the newest scents available now at Yankee Candle.

Next it is on to the Golden Coral for dinner. The Golden Coral menu changes each month with a different theme.  Dinner will feature a large salad bar, all you can eat steak, a taco and soup bar, plus 30 other hot items dessert bar, and make your own Sunday.

The return time will be approx. 10:30 pm and based on the traffic at Bright Nights. The traffic is restricted at Bright Nights to allow only a limited number of vehicles into the park at one time.
