Day 1: We travel north to Burlington Vermont where we board the Northern Lights  for a 1.5 hour narrated lunch cruise around Lake Champlain.  Enjoy the lunch buffet as you cruise taking in the fall colors.

After the cruise our next stop is Lake Champlain Chocolates for a tour and tasting of some of Vermont’s best chocolate.
Lake Champlain Chocolates is a family-owned company located in Burlington, Vermont. In 1983, Jim Lampman declared he would create upscale American chocolates that would “rival the Belgians.” Almost 30 years later, the Lampman family has done just that, by introducing European flavors and tastes using local, Vermont ingredients and by taking a craftsman’s approach to chocolate: creativity, patience and mastery. This level of care and craft leads to chocolates that win high praise, year after year, from customers and industry experts alike. Lake Champlain Chocolates are hand made by people who are passionate about their work; products include chocolate bars, as well as the best-selling Five Star Bars, truffles, caramels, gift assortments and gourmet hot chocolate and are available online, nationwide at specialty food and gift stores, such as Whole Foods Market, upscale hotels and inns, and at their three company-owned stores in Vermont.

Our last stop of the day will be a visit to Shelburne Vineyards for a tasting of Vermont wines. From vine to glass, Shelburne Vinyardes strive to make the finest quality wine from Northern Varietal Grapes grown right here on our vineyards and regionally sourced from other Northern growers.  With a lush Vermont landscape as its backdrop, our state of the art winery and tasting room sits nestled among the vines

Day 2: A breakfast buffet will be served at the hotel before visiting the Shelburne Museum
Shelburne Museum is one of the finest, most diverse, and unconventional museums of art and Americana. Over 150,000 works are exhibited in a remarkable setting of 38 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds.
Impressionist paintings, folk art, quilts and textiles, decorative arts, furniture, American paintings, and a dazzling array of 17th-to 20th-century artifacts are on view. Shelburne is home to the finest museum collections of 19th-century American folk art, quilts, 19th- and 20th-century decoys, and carriages.
Electra Havemeyer Webb (1888-1960) was a pioneering collector of American folk art and founded Shelburne Museum in 1947. The daughter of H.O. and Louisine Havemeyer, important collectors of European and Asian art, she exercised an independent eye and passion for art, artifacts, and architecture celebrating a distinctly American aesthetic.
