In order for you to help meet our expectations we have posted our hotel and restaurant guidelines. These are guidelines not rules!!!
Day 2: We depart the hotel for the Columbia River Gorge one of the most scenic roads in the Pacific Northwest. This views from this road are breathtaking and their seem to be waterfalls around every turn, We will stop at Crown Point, and Multnomah Falls where you will have the opportunity to walk to the base of the falls for dramatic pictures. We will then continue on into fruit producing region ending in the Bavarian Town of Leavenworth This quaint town will make you feel like you are in the Bavarian Alps This is a great spot to wander around town, shop, take pictures or perhaps enjoy an impromptu concert. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 3: We will spend our day traveling through apple and wine country where you will see miles and miles of apple orchards wherever you look. Once we cross the Canadian Border we will be in wine country and we stop to taste some of the locally produced wines along the wine trail. Tonight we will overnight in Kelowna British Columbia. As we are crossing into Canada don’t forget to have the proper identification. After June 1 2009 passports will be required. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 4: After breakfast we will travel to Okanogan Opal where you will have the opportunity to hunt for Opal and agates. Your local guide will show you all you need to know and provide you with the equipment you need to hunt for gemstones. One good Opal could more then pay for the cost of your trip. We will provide a box lunch and cold drinks and you will need to bring sturdy shoes and a desire to find treasure. The gemstones that you find can be turned into Jewelry making a unique souvenir of your trip to the Pacific Northwest. In the late afternoon we will return to Kelowna where a special bar be cue dinner will be prepaid for you. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: We will depart Kelowna for Seattle, Washington passing through one of the areas known for cut flower production. We will arrive in Seattle in the late afternoon and will feature an all you can eat crab feast along the waterfront. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 6: Today we will explore Seattle with a comprehensive sightseeing tour. On the tour you will see the fish ways built to allow the salmon to go up stream, the locks, that allow the boats to transit from Lake Washington, to the Pacific ocean, University of Washington, the Pikes Street Market Place, historic Seattle and much more. In the afternoon you will be free to explore Seattle on your own perhaps you will want to take a cruise, visit the museums, the science center or even take a tour underground. Tonight we will end your adventure with a night of Indian Dancing and salmon cooked over alder coals at the Tillicum Island salmon bake. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 7: We bid the Pacific Northwest farewell as you return home filled with memories and treasures you found in the Pacific Northwest. Breakfast included.
