Day 1:
On arrival in Seattle a city tour featuring sights such as: the Hiram Chittendam Locks, The Seattle Space Needle, the University of Washington, Lake Washington, and the surrounding Seattle area. For those that are interested we will arrange for an underground tour of the city built below modern Seattle. Yes, a full city exists below present Seattle, which was buried as the city grew. There will be free time to explore the
Pikes Street Market Place. Tonight we will have a welcome dinner at the famous Crab Pot Restaurant.
Hotel:Quality Inn Seattle.

Day 2:
Travel through the Cascade Mountains to Leavenworth where we will stop for lunch (on own). Stops will be made this morning to explore the magnificent viewpoints along the road. In the afternoon we will continue on to Kelowna on the Eastern Shores of Lake Okanagan. Be sure to ask your tour director and driver about the Okapogo, which many people believe, inhabit the Lake.
Hotel: Comfort Inn and Suites.

Day 3:
Continue through one of Canada’s major fruit producing regions the Okanogan Valley,
Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park. We continue on through Yoho National Park
and into Banff National Park. Along the way we will see the Spiral Tunnel where trains loop over themselves to reduce the grade and transverse this valley. Arrive in Banff in the late afternoon where you can easily walk to the center of town.

Day 4:
The Canadian National Park System began at the Cave & Basin, where you can experience the mineral baths and smell the gasses coming deep from within the geological faults. View the Hoodos, Bow River, Bow Falls, while enjoying a panoramic tour of Banff. This afternoon we will ride the Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for a majestic view of the Bow River Valley. Sulphur Mountain is rich in minerals and has
become the habitat of big the big horn sheep. Tonight we will feature dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 5:
Today we will travel to the magnificent Lake Louise. You will have time to hike, canoe, enjoy the gardens and the magnificent views. The views from Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are sure to inspire you. Cross the Continental Divide where the water flows into two oceans the Atlantic and the Pacific via two river systems. Tonight we will overnight in the Village of Lake Louise.
Hotel: Lake Louise Inn

Day 6:
The Icefield Parkway is one of the most magnificent roads in the world. As you travel this road you will see glaciers coming down to the tree line, ever changing colors in the lakes, wildlife, and dramatic waterfalls. When we reach the Columbia Glacier we will travel by giant snow coach on to the glacier, where you will have the opportunity to wander out on the ice and taste the pure melt waters of the glacier. We will continue on arriving in Jasper in the late evening. In August the natural lighting provides perfect conditions for photographing the scenery and wildlife.

Day 7:
Our Morning begins with a boat ride on Maligne Lake one of the prettiest Lakes in the Rockies. We will also make a stop at Maligne Canyon in search of wildlife. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the town of Jasper or take an optional raft trip down the Athabaskan River ($65).

Day 8:
We travel west via the Yellowhead Highway to Kamloops. A stop will be made at Mt Robson National Park before continuing on to Wells Gray Provencial Park and on to Kamloops.

Day 9:
Your journey through the Rockies continues as we travel along the banks of the mighty
Fraiser River. Stops will be made at hells Gate for an Ariel Tram Ride to the see the fish ladders and to enjoy lunch at the bottom of the canyon. In the afternoon we cross the coastal mountains where discover how the mountains affect the climate of the region, as we go from dessert to rain forest. We will continue on to Vancouver where we will spend the next three nights.

Breakfast and Dinner included.
 
Day 10:
This morning you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver that will include
Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown, Queen Elizabeth Park, a stop to see the Totem Poles, Lion’s Gate Bridge and much more. The afternoon will be free to enjoy Vancouver on your own.
Hotel: Comfort Inn Downtown.
Breakfast and Dinner included.
 
Day 11:
We must depart the hotel early in order to make the early Ferry to Victoria. On arrival in Victoria you will see the world famous Butchart Gardens. You can’t help to be impressed by the magnificent colors and displays. Later in the day we will continue our sightseeing tour of Victoria. This city is often describes as a city more English then many cities in England. The activities along the inner harbor are sure to delight all. We will return to Vancouver in the early evening.

Day 12:
This morning transfers to Vancouver or Seattle airports will be included.
