Day 1: - We fly to New Orleans where you will be transferred to your hotel close to the French Quarter. New Orleans is coming back and the people of New Orleans are proud of their city. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the French Quarter. Tonight we feature dinner at the New Orleans School of cooking where you will see the meal being prepared and may be asked to help cook. Tonight enjoy Bourbon St. or the Casino. The hotel will be located close to the French Quarter and the Casino. D
Day 2: After included Breakfast at hotel, we depart for Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and a carriage ride through the French Quarter. After your carriage ride, there will be time to explore the Old French Market shops and Farmers Market where exotic spices, handmade crafts, scrumptious candies, and more can be found.. Enjoy lunch on own in French Quarter restaurant. Café du Monde is a good place to sample Beignets and coffee au lait. In the afternoon the city tour will show you the old and new of New Orleans, view Cities of Dead, Garden District, Business District, Lake Front, and French Quarter. Experience the history with a local tour guide. The evening is yours to enjoy all the activities in the French Quarter. Tonight we off the option of visiting Preservation Hall for live Jazz ($12 cover charge) B
Day 3 This morning we enjoy brunch at the Court of Two Sisters. Enjoy Jazz while visiting one of the most famous courtyards and restaurants in New Orleans. After Brunch enjoy the Katrina Exhibit and the Art Work on Jackson Sq, Later in the morning you will be transferred to the Jazz Festival Grounds, where you will find many venues to listen to live jazz. Tonight we will feature a night of dinner and entertainment in New Orleans. BD
Day 4: After Breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Be sure to bring cash, cell phone, umbrella and rain poncho, sunscreen hat, dancing shoes, and even a folding stool is helpful. There are shows all afternoon and food booths throughout the festival. After the festival the time is yours to enjoy the excitement of Bourbon St. and the French Quarter or the Casino. You will be given a dine as you please card which will allow you to enjoy the food you want to eat. .B D.
Day 5: This morning before departing for the airport we will visit Laura Plantation, This Creole plantation will show you what Plantation life was on a Creole Plantation, which was very different from other southern plantations. This attraction has been voted as one of the best attractions in Louisiana. Before departing for the airport we will make a stop for lunch.
