Our day begins with a visit to Vicuna Chocolate where you will see how a cocoa nib is processed into chocolate. It takes almost 70 hours before the chocolate is ready to be molded into a bar. There will be plenty of samples to taste as the process is explained to you as how the chocolate is sourced, ground, tempered and finally molded into bars. Vicuna main ingredients are cacao and pure cane sugar. You will discover that depending on the climatic conditions and the closeness to the equator, chocolate like wine takes on different flavors. Next it is on to Martha’s Exchange for lunch. We ask that you select your entre in advance to speed up serving time. Our last stop is Fulchino Vineyards where you will taste up to 15 different wines. During your tasting you will learn how wine enhances the flavor of food as you taste wine with and without food.
