Day 1: Arrive Boston or Manchester
You will be provided transfers from either Logan International airport or Manchester airport and be transferred to the Holiday Inn Express, Merrimack NH, the remainder of the day will be free. The Merrimack Premium Outlets will be open and we will offer complimentary transportation to the Outlets or to the Anheuser Bush Brewery for a tour and tasting. If you choose to go to the outlets we will provide discount shopping coupons. Tonight we will welcome you to New England with a welcome drink and dinner. Dinner
Day 2: It is off to Coastal Maine where we will explore the Light House Trail. Our first stop will be at Nubble Light one of the most photographed points in Maine, followed by a New England Lobster lunch at the famous Colony Hotel. This afternoon we will visit Portland and the famous Portland Head Light, as well as other lighthouses in the area. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 3: We travel north to Squam Lake, used as the setting in the Classic movie on Golden Pond. On your cruise of Squam Lake you might spot a bald eagle or a loon flying against a background of New England Fall colors. Enjoy a gourmet box lunch before having an interactive experience at the Squam Lake Science Center staring New Hampshire wildlife. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 4: Today we will have a taste of Vermont as we see how Vermont as we taste some of Vermont’s famous products. Our day begins with a stop at the Cabot Creamery Anex, for a sampling of some of Vermont’s finest cheeses. We will continue on to Cold Hollow Cider Mill where you can enjoy a taste of Apple Cider and lunch on your own at the Apple Core Dinner. We will stop to see how maple syrup is made and a tasting on the way back. Breakfast included.
Day 5: Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel before heading off to explore the White Mountains of New England We will travel to the top of Cannon Mountain by Aerial Tram, sure to bring your camera for the scenic vistas, on a clear day you can see four states. In the afternoon we stop at the White Mountain visitor center before we cross the Kancamagus Highway. The Kancamagus offers some of the most dramatic views, with the Mountains and covered bridges. Breakfast and Dinner
Day 6: Visit Newport RI and marvel at the homes along Ocean Drive. We have arranged for a sail aboard a schooner around Newport Harbor followed by a tour of one of the historic Mansions. Breakfast and Dinner included
Day 7: Boston City Tour, Whale Watch
Our day begins with a visit to historic Boston, Massachusetts. Our first stop will be the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned ship in the US Navy. Next we will visit the North End of Boston where you will see the Old North Church and Paul Revere’s home. Then it is on to the famed Quincy Market for a bit of shopping and lunch. On our tour we will also drive by Boston Common, the Statehouse and China town. In the afternoon we will depart for Plymouth for a whale watching tour. Breakfast
Day 8: Nantucket
Enjoy a fully narrated delightful historic tour of Nantucket. Enjoy a full narrated historic tour of Nantucket, famous as the world’s foremost whaling port in the 18th century. The tour covers The Old Mill, “Sconset” Village with its rose-covered cottages, Low Beach, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, Cranberry bogs and Nantucket moors. Breakfast and Dinner
Day 9: Cape Cod National Sea Shore
Travel from Hyannis along the Cape Cod National Sea Shore to Provincetown. Along the way stop at the Salt Marsh Visitor Center where you can see the whaling exhibit and the movie that explains the geology of Cape Cod. On arrival in Provincetown enjoy an afternoon to walk the streets and explore on your own. Before returning to Hyannis enjoy dinner at a local restaurant We offer an option of exploring the Dunes of Cape Cod with Arts Dune Tours. That evening, you’ll enjoy a New England Lobster dinner. Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 10: This morning we will tour Hyannis with stops at the Kennedy Memorial before continuing on to the JFK Presidential Library In the afternoon you will be transferred to Boston Logan airport for return flights home. (flights should depart after 2 PM
